...the grey cloud makes a swing of appearance today
to stagnate enchanted in staid sunniness...
seemingly wandering from lighted unease to gloomy retrospect.
...marabou storks idle atop street lights
escapelaxing in a simplistic pretend
intent on appearing unbothered
and the lake wind streams by aimlessly...
No one can undo this day
this is just one kind of Uganda
that passes unnoticed...

I guess you're well committed to your moto: trying to "make scared with words" Words do sound bombastic. To impress the reader is somehow effective when the reader attempts to escape the text-prison. But she gets fully shackled by the steel chains of the words. This is mentally challanging but fettering on the other side. I believe this work in its turn deserves to get "eased off" to delight the reader... .
